Responsibilities
- Working as Editorial Board of Regulatory Tracker.
- Consult, collect and prepare views of members of NERLDC for the Orders issued by CERC on Regulatory matters.
- Track orders / regulations issued from time to time by the State Regulatory Commissions, MoP, Bill passed by Parliament on electricity matters and major orders pertaining to critical matters from other regions.
- Compare the regulations available elsewhere in the world and gear-up our region with inputs that may be required in developing international regulations since our region is connected with many countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar & Bhutan.
- Make presentations from time to time for overall awareness and capacity building amongst the employees of NERLDC.
- Give feedback/comments on draft Regulations of CERC.
- Analyse and make presentations on all final Regulations notified by CERC.
- Conducting sessions from time to time on Regulatory matters for capacity building of all stakeholders
- Conducting Inter-RLDC Quarterly Regulatory Quiz Programme.
- Conducting monthly regulatory Quiz programme for NERLDC employees.
